Outreach Activities

The IATRC has been demonstrably successful as a "virtual think tank" which achieves timely and targeted delivery of cutting-edge economic research to government decision-makers.  Since its inception, the Consortium has promoted direct interaction between researchers and trade negotiators at its symposia, sponsored briefings for policymakers and their staff, and commissioned joint academic-government research for dissemination through publications and conferences.
